thoduo Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I am extremely picky when it comes to the way joints feel for action figures. In my case I like them nice and tight. If it's any less than that I get extremely irritated with them. Any ideas? Quote

But I have a feeling you're talking about sets as well as MOCs, and using those for smaller sets could really screw with their proportions. I'm sure a thin coat of paint on the inside of the ball cup might make a difference, though it might wear away after a certain amount of use. Quote

coolcab1 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 (edited) Put a dab of Krazy Glue (A.K.A the Kragle) or super glue and it might tighten. Sometimes it works and sometimes it won't but, you NEED one dab ok. If you don't use just a dab then it might keep it there for EVER (and EVER and EVER and EVER etc.). Taaron Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 While I don't use it for Lego, but some other action figures I'm always quite fond of using clear nail polish for tightening. Put a coat on the socket, let dry, reassemble. If it's not what you like, put a coat on the ball, let dry, reassemble. Keep going till it's how you want it. Quote
Kalhiki Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 As said above, nail polish or super glue works on other action figures. Haven't tried it on Lego, though. Just be sure to put a small amount and continuously rotate the joint in all possible directions while it dries. That way you get full coverage and it won't stick in place. Quote
Saberwing40k Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 This works pretty well. I've used this with a MOC, and it works very well, However, it does not work on hero factory joints. Quote
Pate-keetongu Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 The rubber band technique usually breaks the sockets after a while, at least if the figure is played with. I used to do that with Pridak which had that odd ball joint torso. Quote
