ACPin Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Completed but I thought the time period would be more appropriate for the Pirates MOC theme. From the National Geographic - World Heritage Sites Additional details. Currently working on this. AC Quote
sin Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Wow that's a whole lot of flower stems! I really like how you contoured the land, I will be checking back to see what the finished product looks like. Placing all of those stems side by side has to take a lot of patience, the stems must be placed just so to avoid them pushing their neighbors off of their studs. Quote
JopieK Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 very nice, but also... a very lot of work! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Perfect so far.....keep going 'ACPin' and Brick On ! Quote

Placing all of those stems side by side has to take a lot of patience, the stems must be placed just so to avoid them pushing their neighbors off of their studs. I use the hobby tweezers to plant them and my index finger felt numb after doing this for an hour. very nice, but also... a very lot of work! No work, no pay! Perfect so far.....keep going 'ACPin' and Brick On ! Not even halfway through... These stems look really real and also the terrain is nice. Hopefully I don't run out of them! AC Quote

Legogal Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Fantastic layout and design! Nice water buffalo fits right in. The good news is that we don't have to bend over and plant and then later harvest the rice. Extremely well done, and we, too, are all hoping that you don't run out of parts! Quote

Actually, I did run out of the grass stems and had to make a run for two large PaB cups at the Lego store over the weekend. AC Quote
