Hi, my name is Janine and I am from New Zealand. I've always been a fan of Lego and kept all my Lego (and my brother's) for safekeeping. Now my three year old twin boys love to play with it (and really, I don't need an excuse to play, although I have brought 'them' new things which I won't let them play with because some things still end up in their mouths!).

My brother and his girlfriend are HUGE Lego collectors (they have display cabinets etc.) and I want to make them some custom Lego minifigures - and a search for information led me here. I've spent most of today reading all the tutorials and look forward to trying out a few of the techniques. I know I will become addicted to modifications (and likely obsessed) as I have a collection of minifigures that I've just realised in the last week I can modify and not much else has gotten done in my life since then. I also have some 'Teen Wolf' (the MTV series, not the movie) minifigures which I have 'created' and want to do more with, which I really look forward to getting my teeth into when I find the time.

Welcome!

I've done several custom mini figures via the waterside decal method and also submitted artwork to a supplier on eBay to print some torsos for me.

Personally I love customising them and also like to make purist customs taking parts from different figures.

There's another Kiwi lady on here called LukeWarmTea... Might be interesting for you to have a chat!

Enjoy the forum!

Thanks everyone - I'm going to print my first sheet of decals tonight. Really looking forward to seeing how they turn out. (Is there a 'Failed Attempts' thread somewhere...? ;) )
