LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 (edited) In December, after reading this topic http://www.eurobrick...c=89255&hl=6393 I decided, as announced, to build a larger version of this awesome set using my favorite brand logo I wanted to keep the old format adding a large parking lot for trucks and customizing the structure of buildings and vehicles. The Shell livery is perfect for the mechanical area, for the shop and the bar. At the entrance of the parking lot I put the parking gate from the original set 2881. My credits goes to lightningtiger for the detail of the outdoor chiller unit, the fridge with the tables inside the bar, the portable compressor and the tire balancing machine Enjoy the show Edited February 10, 2014 by LEGO Train 12 Volts Quote

JopieK Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 well, what can I say other than: you did a great job! from a relatively small set into a whole scene!!! Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Now, I love this design ....and not only because my earlier work was the inspiration but a wonderful take on the classic 80's Shell service stations combined with that truck stop set. Brick On 'LT12V' ! Quote
eurotrash Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Excellent attention to detail. Very retro-Lego, I love it! Quote
Only Sinner Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 This is way better than half the set designs that TLG has come out with lately. I love the retro 4-wide trucks, and the whole layout is wonderful. I especially like the service center. Quote
trippybrowneyes Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 (edited) What a great add-on to an already awesome set! I love MOCs that are done in classic 80's scale. Also, you just made me realize that my town needs more parking.. Edited February 10, 2014 by trippybrowneyes Quote

monsinjor Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I don't know how I missed this... It's fantastic. So much details... I love your classic trucks. It just calls to play with it. Great work LT12V Quote
Bipin Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Nothing beats that classic and timeless, albeit simple feel to the MOC. Nicely done! Quote
