Bricktimus Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Hi guys, I recently bought the Chima set "Rogon's Rock Flinger'. Unfortunately one of the shoulder pads was missing. I contacted TLG to say this (through the missing pieces page) but have yet tp hear anything. Have you wver experienced anything like this? How long roughly does it take to arrive? Thanks in advance for your help. Quote
naf Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Last time I contacted them about a missing piece, they got back with me within a couple of business days, and I had the parts in a couple of weeks. Quote
Robianco Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I also bought a set recently (box was very garaged etc) and found a couple of small piece missing. I had confirmation within a couple of days then another to say the item was out of stock. Around 4 days after that I had confirmation they had been sent. I've always found them very efficient. Quote
CardinalBricks Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 (edited) I contacted them about a missing glass door frame from my Pet Shop set in late October. I know they got the request because they replied back, but I still haven't gotten it yet! I'm guessing the Fed-Ex guy delivered it to the wrong address (I know I typed it in right), and the people living there just took it. Oh well, I have a million of those anyway, but it's aggravating to me that someone would take mail that's not theirs. Other than that, I've never had a problem with them and always got my piece within a week or so. Edited February 4, 2014 by BrickRally217 Quote
ElCrab Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I've only gone through the process once, and I'm embarrassed to say it was my own error. But even though I accidentally got one extra piece from LEGO, the process was very easy and pretty fast. It is comforting to know that LEGO cares enough to send you a piece without any hassle. Quote
sin Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 My experiences have been similar. I have had pieces missing in only 2 out of about 140 sets and both times I received the part in 2-3 weeks. Recently I had a warped piece from the new City Square set (large curved window from the motorcycle shop), I haven't received it yet but got notice that it shipped about 10 days ago. Quote

samlr Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 I had a broken piece in a new set once. They send a new one for free, 4 weeks after I've contacted them. Quote
Bricktimus Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 I got the acknowledgement through yesterday, hopefully it wont be too long now :) Quote
