Curendir Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Hi, I doesn't really want to stand out among the crowd but thought it would be nice to introduce myself anyway since I've just joined the forums. I can't say when I started playing Lego as it seems they always have been part of my life. However when approximately 18 it was hard to still ask for Lego at Xmas with everyone finding me weird. My last set was a Lego 7191 X-Wing UCS, a brilliant set which I still have and will probably never sale! The last few years I knew I had to come back to Lego as I was more and more interested in the new adult-targeted sets such as the modular series. I got a Lego 10193 Medieval Village one year ago at Xmas and I knew it was playing time again This year, at 37 year old, I finally gave in and bought the Parisian Restaurant as soon as it was out (at about 2am on the January, 1st ) and I'm now happily expanding a modular collection as well as some Winter themed sets (and I'm not sure I won't say yes to some LOTR or Star Wars sets as well). I hope to share some personal creations soon (made on Lego Digital Designer) but being on a Mac it's difficult to find a good way to get a nice render. Anyway I love looking at yours and all these building techniques which have evolved over the years. Last but not least I'm french so sorry for the likely english mistakes! Cheers, Curendir Quote
