[JFAIR] Simple Prop Plane (WIP)

I have been working on and off on this for a couple of weeks now, and it is not finished (see the back), but I find myself in dire need of yellow arts for other projects, so unfortunately I won't be able to finish it

This is my first go at making a plane, so please bear with me.. it is by no means a beauty

Its features are:

-Rotating prop directly connected to a flat-4 engine.

-Realistic flight controls (elevators, rudder, aileron) controlled from cockpit

-Retractable (well, sort of) landing gear

-Weight brick in the front to keep the nose down

-Shiny exhaust pipes

The elevators and ailerons are controlled by a stick in the cockpit, and the rudder by pedals.

I made a quick LDD model of the mechanical side of things:

The purple is the ailerons

Red is elevators

Green is rudder

Making a plane was very much fun, so hopefully I'll be able to make a better one in the future!

That's great looking! It needs wheels on the inside of the landing gear but apart from that it's a good job. I hope you can finish it as you would like. I've discovered i'm rubbish at aircraft but will try a small copter.
