8482 vs. 8483

I've looked in all places I know but can't find differences between the two sets. Yet, on bricklink, the prices are VERY different.

Anyone got both and can tell what the differences are? Is it the metal vs. cardboard case ?

Brickset says about 8483:

^{Same as 8482 but packaged in an aluminum look-alike case}
