I've been studying online communities as a part of my Honors Thesis for almost a year, and have found this board to be really fun and insightful. I've been a FOL for quite some time now - I have a family member who collects and I love to help him build. I even made a LEGO dulcimer (a guitar of sorts) for a school project back in middle school... It played music and everything! Needless to say, my teacher loved it. Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm here... I hope to contribute to your community and get to interact with some of you. As far as my research goes, everything will be kept confidential unless I directly ask someone for permission to quote them.
