Sorry to revive an already revived dead thread, but was curious if @ScottishDave had any photos of his new Falcon with the panels removed? Curious how your awesome SNOT mandibles are attached, as well as the other panels in general. Thank you!

Hi @Sucram Sorry to say, I have no photos with the cover off.

I also don't intend to take any.... It's currently on a high shelf in a display box. It took a lot of delicate, careful work to get it up there and it ain't coming down for a long, long time :-)

I'm not sure which 4 walls you mean, but I'm willing to help. Could you mark them up on a photo?

I know how they are attached on the 10179 Modell, but you did it much better on your Mod. I saw it on Flickr by your older Mod of the Falcon and tried to figure out how you did it. I cant lower down the white and yellow brackets enough to get the angle that you have.

Two rows of plates on the underside of the walls and the top, then three matching pairs of hinge plates on each side.

Any plates which can hinge will do. I happened to use finger hinge plates because I have a lot of them but they are old, rare and expensive so I suggest these instead:

Good luck!
