Robianco Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I've just had to try and pick a new 'Furby' toy from McDonalds as my 4 yr old's Furby was lost today at school (unfortunately they're now Tom & Jerry toys but I digress). At the bottom corner of the toy display there was a coming soon sticker with the Lego Movie logo along with Emmett and Wyldstyle. Seeing as you can buy Happy Meal toys for £1 without having to buy any food from Maccies do we think they'll be Minifigures or microbuilds? I can't see them putting out a moulded plastic toy that wasn't a brick or figure based product. Edit: ...a simple Google search has shown that they're actually cups. Shame. As you were people... nothing to see here! Quote
mlynb1992 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I saw something about this online the other day. Seems like a really big missed opportunity for LEGO, unless they were concerned about the small pieces being unsafe? Still, doesn't seem to make much sense. Quote
LEGO Family Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 At first i also thought it was a shame that it was "only" cups. However, after i went to see The LEGO movie with my sisters son friday, we went to MCd, im not a fan, but every kid are ;P . He offcourse wanted a happy meal and got the Emmet cup. Its actually quite good quality and has monograms all around the outside cover. Having seen it i had to buy my own and ended up with four different cups being Emmet, Wildstyle, Unikitty and a metalbeard cup for my collection. I find it to be quite a good "toy" compared to what i would have thought. Offcourse real LEGO wuold have been even better Quote
