Hey all, just a quick one. Which hinge system is best to use for a large building MOC?

I'm turning the Summer Riding Camp into an apartment building/bookshop, and it's hinged in the middle to make a 'compact playset' type of thing. In total it's 32x24 deep, with a hinge joining the 16x16 plates (8x16 plates at the back) and like Friends and City, is open at the back. I'm struggling to find a hinge system that sits the sides reasonably flush when closed. It'll be two storey with a terrace garden type roof.

I'd appreciate your thoughts!

Are you hinging it to swing open dollhouse like? I'm having trouble visualizing what you are doing? And by reasonably flush, are you trying to get the sides to lock in straight, or eliminate those slight bulges from the hinge itself?

Thanks guys, sorry it was 12.30am when I posted that and I was so tired my brain had given up. I'm trying to just use what I have, and stick to using parts from the Summer Riding Camp or small sets/polybags/common parts, which is a great challenge. (The idea is to show people what Friends sets can do!)

In the end I dissasembled the door on the Camper 3184 and used those two white hinges: http://brickset.com/parts/?part=383101 (and it's counterpart). They also come in Mia's Lemonade stand and heaps of other sets, so I'm hoping other PFOL's can find them. The whiteness is a bit stark against the tan but it fades into the background a bit over time. I think.

But thanks!
