HJR-Holland Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) In this topic: Would it hurt you if the Star Wars franchise would stop right now? many gave as feedback that they are on the verge of stopping with collecting Star Wars LEGO sets as LEGO is currently more looking at relaunches of existing sets, rather than coming up with new vehicles. So hence the question: what should LEGO create what hasn't been made yet? This is a different question than the Future Star Wars Sets forum, as in that one there are a lot of requests for remakes and improvements of existing sets, whereas this ought to be all about one thing: what is missing? Would be nice if you could add an image of the 'original' vehicle and explain from what movie / carton / videogame it comes from. I suggest only new vehicles are added, and not to have repetition. I'll also agendize for the start of each year to see whether LEGO has created one of these missing sets :-) Long time ago I made a longlist with 'to-do' sets for TLG, and oddly enough, it's mostly done by LEGO these days. What I still miss is the following though: Episode I - Gian speeder Episode II - Risksja Speeder Episode III - UT-AT Episode IV - Outrider Episode IV - bantha And that's it, really... Just curious, but shouldn't this discussion be taking place in the "Future Star Wars Sets" thread? It's a thraed talking about what sets members want to see. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=70171 This discussion is a subset of that one - that's for everything people would like to see TLG do (including remakes), while this one is only for things people would like to see TLG do that they haven't done at all before. Yes, but a TIE-Fighter would still be a remake. We wouldn't discuss that here. Come on people: [stay on target image] There's a great topic already to discuss remakes, variations, and the possible release or non-release of the UCS Sandcrawler... Sorry, HJR, but we really don't see any reason for this to be a separate thread. It may be more specific than Future Star Wars Sets because you exclude remakes, but that means that it's still under the same topic as Future Star Wars Sets. The purpose of Future Star Wars Sets, after all, encompasses both ideas for remakes and new ideas for sets. We also already have a thread for minifigs that you want to see. I've discussed this with other staff, and we agree that this doesn't need to be its own topic. I'll move posts over to Future Star Wars Sets... Also, I know you started this topic, but that doesn't mean you have the authority to moderate it. Please don't act like staff by repeatedly telling members to stay on topic. Thanks.
