Just wanted to say HI to everyone as I have just signed up and become an official forum member after visiting the boards for a few weeks.I have just recently got back into collecting, playing, displaying, building and just having fun with lego after a 30 year break! My partner thinks I'm going through an early mid-life crisis but I keep trying to convince her that it's a great way of expressing ones creativity *sweet* .

Anyway,I started off collecting Star Wars lego as I have been a fan since I saw the original when it came out in my local cinema(which is now another block of flats) and have just discovered the Train and Town/City themes.WOW this really is going to be an expensive hobby,as I keep discovering sets that I missed during my 'Dark Ages'.I hope, as I gain more knowledge, that I can contribute to the forum and give something back as I have found the various posts very helpful, cheers.

Welcome to EB, I hope you enjoy your stay! As someone who just recently came out of the dark ages himself, I feel for both you and your wallet! A good place to keep track of what you have and what you want is Brickset, it will help you manage your collection and your wallet!

welcome Paul, to Eurobricks, I am sure you'll have a great time here.

Just keep on trying to convince your partner that lego is the best way to express ones creativity...
