Digger1221 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 News reached Sir Glennian of the Queen’s takeover while he was on the road, heading to her coronation banquet. He spent the night at a roadside inn while pondering his next move. During the night a band of the Queen’s soldiers raided the inn, in search of the Lenfel knight. Sir Glennian and his men just barely escaped capture by leaping out a second story window. Deciding that drastic action must be taken if Lenfald should be restored to freedom, the green-hooded warrior shed his shiny chain-mail outfit and donned a forest toned mantle, encouraging his men to do the same. The baron by whom he was previously employed had been taken as a prisoner by Galainir’s minions, leaving Glennian homeless. The greenwood would now be his only dwelling. Sir Glennian planned to gather around a band of Lenfel peasants and nobility, slowly building up a rebel force to oust the new queen from Lenfald. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ A great civilization once rose up in the forest in ancient times, leaving behind many decaying castles and towers. These were scattered, mostly abandoned, around what is now Lenfald. Sir Glennian and his men plan on using one such tower as their headquarters…though a bit of “remodeling” may be necessary. _______________________________________ This is for LCC over on Classic Castle. This is my entry to the Restricted category of the GCVI, as well as for my brawl vs. RBCustoms. ;) Round towers are a bit harder to build than I expected. ;) A few more pics on my flickr. Soli Deo Gloria! Quote
thrak76 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Nice build! It looks nicely weathered, with a good rock perch. Couldn't really tell that it had a lean to it until looking at the flickr pics. Quote
mpoh98 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 This is just awesome diver, the trees are amazing, the landscape is fantastic, and the tower is wonderful! Quote
JoashColbat Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Great MOC mate, love the tower's stonework! Quote
Justin M Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Awesome job making a "ruined" look on the tower. Well done! Quote
