Hi everyone! I'm an AFOL based in middle/north East Coast USA, with a growing collection of LEGO kits and parts for MOC'ing. I started back into LEGO a bit more than a year ago, as more spending money allowed me to begin seriously considering theme kits that coincide with my interests, such as Star Wars, LoTR, Minecraft, and The Hobbit. I've also been making aggressive use of the Pick-a-Brick walls in my local LEGO stores (I'm within 45 minutes of 4 stores, I feel blessed!) to grow my loose brick collection. All these things combine to bring me here, as I'm looking toward to getting more involved in the broader AFOL community, to share ideas and gain new insights into the use and collection of LEGO kits and pieces.

Anyway, glad to be here, and I look forward to sharing this mutual joy with all of you.

Welcome!

It sounds like you hail from my neck of the woods (globally speaking). I live just outside of Boston, an expensively convenient distance from 4 Lego Stores and about an hour's drive from the venue for BrickFair New England.

I look forward to seeing what you do with all those Pick-a-Brick harvests.

Welcome programmerdan! There was a thread in the forums about an English AFOL who did a PAB crawl by visiting as many Lego Stores as possible in the shortest possible time. It sounds like you could be off to a good start with 4 in 45 minutes.

Thanks all! I'm actually in New Jersey -- I've got four stores in state, and one in NYC that's easy to get to (actually just a few stops off my commute home). Good guesses though ... I'm surprised at the concentration of LEGO stores in the Northeast USA -- we must all be LEGO nuts :D. @eurotrash -- sounds like fun! I wasn't trying to hit as many as possible, but I did visit all four NJ stores over the Christmas holiday while travelling between relatives -- good thing my wife is patient with me and my hobbies!

Hello, and pleased to meet you! I live in New Jersey as well but I'm much father from LEGO stores (about an hour or more from 2 stores). Welcome to Eurobrivks and I hope to hear more from you soon! :)
