edsmith0075 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I have recently decided to build a 3 truck boogie but am having trouble figuring out the sides. I used the design from railbrick with the sliding mid axle. This design is used on the "Katy". I built it to specification but am having a hard time trying to figure out how to attach the side pieces. The ones that cover the wheels. I see them in the picture but they do not give instructions on this final element. Quote
JopieK Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 very nice train indeed! what railbricks issue are you referring to? Quote
Duq Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 It's always appreciated if you can show what you've got sofar when you ask for help. In the meantime this might help: Quote
edsmith0075 Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 Thanks for the inspiration pics. I have a completed bogie as instructed from the railbricks article. I am at work and unable to gather a pic of what I have but it looks identical to the one they give instructions on building. Quote
JopieK Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 http://www.ministick...mages/bogie.lxf I did some adjustments, but I think the instructions are indeed a bit tricky. Probably 47905 is used instead of 87087. Quote
