Doctor_ocks Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I know this scene was not popular among those of us who are book fans, but I liked the idea of Radagast's Bunny sled. It seemed like a challenge and was something I wanted to try. I borrowed the basic rabbit design from http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/351564 but I wanted the rabbits to be a bit beefier. I also tries using cheese slopes to make some ears folded. Anyway, let me know what you think. Quote
Risgrynsgrot Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I hated this part of the movie, but the MOC is great! You've really captured a good feeling of speed in your creation. Quote

mpoh98 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Haha awesome! You copied the basic design from one of my best friends IRL! :D Love the sense of action going on, especially with Radagast! Quote
Deathleech Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Yes,I love Radagast on the sled and the sense of action/speed his positioning is giving. I dunno if I am crazy about the rabbits though. They look very mechanical, almost like mousers from TMNT rather than organic rabbits (which I know is hard to do with bricks). Quote

I have yet to see a better design for brick built rabbits that are even close to scale though than the one I linked up above. Quote
Fives Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Clever work. It's a shame LEGO won't likely release an official version of the sled. I'd like to see how they'd tackle the design without using illegal connections between pieces. Also, I wonder if you'll be able to ride the sled in The Hobbit Videogame. Quote
