If you guys are RPG fans and are big fantasy fans, then get this game. It's a heck of a game. :-D Anybody play this game other than me? Well I LOVE IT!! *wub* It's highly addictive and you can spend hundreds of hours on the gameplay! It's definetely worth's it's price, probably worth more. I hope you like the graphics, they are cel-shaded and are really detailed. It's one of the best RPG games out right now for PS2.

This is truly a gem. Dark Cloud 2 is everything a good action RPG should be. Great graphics, awesome music, challenging battles, fun sidequests and a bunch of minigames. The story is intriguing and the concept is original with a few logic holes but I won't that against it.

The characters were somewhat interesting and the voice acting was pretty good. I enjoyed the whole aspect of collecting characters to unlock new secrets and continue the missions. If you liked Suikoden or Skies of Arcadia than this part of the game should be right up in your alley.

The battles were fun and I liked the fact that you can even enter a mech and fight enemies that way. The ability to customize your weapons and outfits was deep and fun. But don't expect easy fights. Some of the enemies are tough and will require a couple of retries and leveling up to get through. Fans of Zelda will like the way the battles were represented even though the fighting isn't as deep.

The whole Georama aspect of the games were truly original and a unique experience. It really added a sense of SimCity to the game. I really like the fact that what you build will affect the future. It's not particularly deep and won't affect the actual change in location for the future geography but a nice unique element for this game. I hope to see an expanded feature for this part of the game if they ever make a sequel.

I really loved the music in this game. Everything sounded so calm and relaxing that you'll find yourself totally immersed just because of the music. Even the music for the dungeons were nice and relaxing. It's only during an actual battle that the music gears up for some action. Which is cool. You'll quickly find yourself taking your time just because of the excellent soundtrack. It's one of the best parts of the presentation and I'll never get tired of it.

Btw, this game is packed with so much to do that you can literally spend hours just doing one sidequest or minigame to your heart's content. I've never had so much fun fishing or raising fish in an aquarium in a RPG. The whole aspect of taking pictures and inventing items was also a great distraction and bonus. You'll find yourself trying to build new weapons and items just because you can. This game just keeps giving you more and more to do as you progress. You can even relax and simply explore the world and discover new secrets and gaze at the gorgeous world. Truly awesome.

This RPG ranks up there as one of the best action RPGs of all time. A great experience from beginning to end and is very satisfying. Excellent. |-D
