Laphroag Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Hello. I am back in the Lego business after more than 20 years hiatus. I stopped building/playing in early 1990s. But after we got our first kid in 2010 I have been telling my wife how I look forward to the time he gets old enough to build "proper" Lego (currently Duplo is on the table, but not very interesting for me). She got bored of my nagging about it and decided to get me Tower of Orthanc for christmas to shut me up. And hence the spark was lit! I'll probably go for big sets and perhaps try some MOC/MOD based on these, but firstly I need to get an overview of all the new pieces and building techniques that have emerged and been developed in the last 20+ years.
