tommy-gee37 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 So i've been building a set on LDD and have been working on it on and off for a couple of months. The thing is however, is that the list of decorations available in the application for the body is limiting for my creations. I realise that there are a grand total of 1,509 decorations in the .lif file, and would love to have full access to all the available textures in the .lif file. Is there a way to access all of the decorations in the .lif file in the application itself? I thought this especially may be possible now that LDD has a scroll bar when selecting a decoration, that the left over decorations could be shown when scrolling down. Thanks for all your help. Quote
Superkalle Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Hello Welcome to the EB forums. Short answer - no, unfortunately there is no way to access any more decorations from inside the application itself. The best way to access the extra "hidden" decorations available is by using the LXF-file that Aanchir has created and "copy-paste" the bricks with the decorations from there. Have a look at the index topic here in the forum, and you'll find a lot of goodies. If you want even more decorations than that you need to use Ldraw. LDD is great for what it is - a simple, free software, but it has some limitations. If you need more power under the hood, Ldraw is the way to go. Quote
