Just built mine, The changes I made were the extension on the front bumper and changed the front bumper and guards to red, filled in the sides of the cab and added 2 x 5L beams to the sides of the rear window, yellow windscreen cover and extra lights but the rest is the same:

Your MOD it looks better then real 42024 set. Do you have any video, how it does it work in your model? Is functions also are slow, like in 42024 set? :D

I always thought this set would look better with dual real tyres, but only a single axle.  This is certainly more common to see skip trucks with this combination in the UK.  I bought a second set with the plans to modify, and it just never got done.  I did not have the parts needed at the time.  But I like the scale of these trucks.
