Starwars4J Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Hm, could you tell us more about this enormous model? Is it yours and these are just pictures someone else took? If not, who is the creator...the owner of the BS account? Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted April 12, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted April 12, 2007 I'm also interested to now if you are the creator of these trucks. They look almost like the real versions. Incredible that this is possible with Lego. As always, I prefer models to be on minifig scale (I wanna play :-P ). Quote
Wout Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 This Legomaster1972 is Marcel van der Linden and he post most on de bouwsteen. He also posted this on de bouwsteen. the only thing he said about it it was on a modelbeurs in Zaandam. It is not of him. Quote

Wout Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I asked on the bouwsteen if he knew who made this, but He didn;t ansewrd yet Quote
oo7 Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Impressive, but a little too blocky for my taste, and I also prefer minifig scale. We don't want to credit the wrong person... Quote

Starwars4J Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 *Points at Bonaparte* Yes but Wout answered after...bah, leave it to a Rebel to place the blame on others :-P It's not a big deal at any rate :-) Quote
zeki Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 These truck realy are amazing and very detailed, and veeeery big. But still i love them. I wish i could see a firetruck this sized one day. Quote
Wout Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 I found it just on the bouwsteen , but Pietje already answerd the question Thanks Piet :-) On the roof of the truck there are 2 "Flipjes" or something that really looks on him. Flipje is a merchendise fig from " The Betuwe jam/confiture". In the eighties there were more trucks with them on it. I don't know why there are now less Quote
Landlubber Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Impressive, but a little too blocky for my taste, and I also prefer minifig scale. Too blocky? 1. It's lego, it's supposed to be blocky. 2. Have you seen the real trucks? They're pretty blocky themselves. Brilliant, every one of them. The man must be commended. Quote
oo7 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Too blocky?1. It's lego, it's supposed to be blocky. I beg to differ. 2. Have you seen the real trucks? They're pretty blocky themselves. Not all. Quote
