badgogo Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I would like to share my last Moc for this year, but first of all, i think is my duty to told you something about "Maramures" Well, Maramures is a county situated in the north of Romania, is a place surrounded by mountains and hills, is a place where sometime winters are still full of snow . Is a well knowed place from Romania where you can still find old wooden churchs, old wooden houses with wooden gates in some small villages; is a place where you can still find people who live in old traditional stile. I know this because i'm living in Maramures. Here are some photos with the MOC: DSC_0380 by tomoiaga, on Flickr DSC_0382 by tomoiaga, on Flickr DSC_0383 by tomoiaga, on Flickr And some photos with an old house , a wooden gate and a draw with a Maramures farm: Casa-Sarbi_1 by tomoiaga, on Flickr Poarta-Maramuresana6705 by tomoiaga, on Flickr farmyard by tomoiaga, on Flickr fantana-traditionala by tomoiaga, on Flickr I wish you a Happy New Year!!!! badgogo Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 Thanks guys for your feedback! Unfortunately, I can enjoy the snow, only in my moc. I'm still waiting for the snow to enjoy it (for skiing) Quote
CoNSpiracy Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Wow, fantastic MOC! Many great details, like the sleigh and the snow on the small trees. How did you fix the two halfs of the sleigh, down the middle? I assume you have used 4 headlights, but I can't see how you have fixed the bottoms of two headlights together? Quote
greg3 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 An excellent little scene!! The buildings are just beautiful and the details of the well and the snow effects just finish it off wonderfully! Nice work!! Quote
Kristel Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 This is awesome! The main building looks really cosy and I love how you've done the roof. Quote
badgogo Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 I'm glad you like it! Thanks a lot. How did you fix the two halfs of the sleigh, down the middle? I assume you have used 4 headlights, but I can't see how you have fixed the bottoms of two headlights together? Here you can see how i did it: 1 by tomoiaga, on Flickr Quote
