Hi, I was wondering, what is the largest system space ship? I've recently got back into space, and I was just curious, I searched around but couldn't find a similar topic. To my knowledge, the Galactic Enforcer and The Exploriens flagship have been mentioned in relation to being the biggest, but I've never found a sound answer. Anybody here have an idea?

I guess it depends what you mean by big. If you are talking about enclosed space for pilots to sit, move around and do stuff then probably the Space Police II flagship I'd say. It is fairly chunky and basically a long hollow tube. The Exploriens ships is big, but there is not a lot of room inside if you see what I mean. They are restricted to their particular pods and it would be hard to move around the ship, also it has plenty of holes so unless you think it is surrounded by a force field or something. In fact I remember making alterations to mine to make the central bit more enclosed so they could sit in there and at least be able to take their helmets off for while without loosing the ability to breath. I did not have the Galactic Enforcer as my parents could not afford to get me one and by the time I was earning money to get it myself it had long since gone from the shelves. In fact I only got the Space Police ! &2 flagships from a little toy shop that still had them a few years later and they were tucked away out of site and mind..

So, although some of the LEGO space ships are quite big they are always (In most cases.) very practical and I do not think I would like to be a mini figure space man going on a long duration space flight in any of them. I see them more as planetary shuttles, or maybe for flying from one planet in a system to another but not much more than that.

Agreed, I see them as the equivalent of a Shuttle or Runabout from Star Trek, not a long distance ride. What I meant, and I feel like an idiot for not putting in the topic, is the overall length, although anything else, like enclosed space or the air tightness, would be good to know. I've got loads of medium sized ships, from the 918 to the Rebel Hunter to the Allied Avenger, but I'd never got anything bigger, till yesterday when the Galactic Enforcer arrived. Having seen the diverse selection, in particular the Classic Space and other Space Police flagships, I was wondering about the overall size of them in comparison to each other, in case I buy any in the future, and for other people, as I'm sure some one else would like to know.

Am I wrong in thinking that Benny's Starship from the Movie sets might be in the running for largest? Otherwise, just counting the Lego "Space" series ships, I think the SP III Galactic Enforcer is probably the largest in terms of overall volume, weight and enclosed seating capacity, although a few others might have greater length or wingspans. If you broaden the range to allow for Licensed themes than the largest "system" or minifig scale Starship is easily the 10179 Millenium Falcon, with the 10213 Shuttle Adventures at 2 and 10212 Tyderium Shuttle probably at number 3. Taking UCS off the table I would guess the System scale (non UCS) 10198 Tantive IV. (I discount the Star Destroyers and Death Star as they are really out of scale playsets built inside wildly out of scale models. I kind of made a distinction between them and selectively compressed models that still maintained a minifig scale cockpit, hatches and playfeatures such as the Tantive IV, Republic Cruiser, etc)

just my 2c
