TheOrcKing Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Allow me to introduce myself. I have been a builder practically since birth being introduced to Duplo and then moved along to Lego at an early age of four. My first sets were the original yellow Castle, Motorcycle Shop, Gas Station, and some Fabuland characters tossed in the mix. Through the years I have built many things but I doubt one could classify any of them as MOCs aside from maybe two or three honestly. Like my ever growing collection of parts, my skills are getting a little better. Hardly anything to brag about but at least it is a bit more sophisticated than sticking a couple 2x4’s together and calling it a spaceship. Ha. Ha. I enjoy all themes including Friends (even though I am a guy) and truly could not pick only one as tops since I love building everything. Now I do lean somewhat towards Space and Castle with City mixed in there (I was really into Space and Castle as a kid) but anymore with the increasing level of detail found in official sets released across the board, each theme catches my eye equally. I like collecting polybags well as the Collectable Minifigures aside from the typical box sets and admittedly try completing collections of the various themes out there to a degree (or within reason). On a totally unrelated note, a couple of my favorite movies would be and Rear Window, music is and , cartoons with The Real Ghostbusters and Biker Mice from Mars, and for anime Guyver and Cromartie High School. Deciding on favorite video games is tricky mainly because there are just so many out there to love especially within the indie community itself. I do know I enjoyed Aero Fighters growing up which was probably the one that got me into gaming to start with, and I just beat by locomalito a few days ago which was a blast.Anyway, I have wanted to join the site for a good while now which is rather daunting being ‘the new guy’ on such a well-established forum. Well, here I am hoping to converse on many topics with all of you on the greatest creative toy ever conceived, Lego! Cheers, TheOrcKing Quote
