Legofan225 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Hello! l got curios it might sound crazy but would be possible to attach lego power funcions on a 42002 hovercraft set or on 42010+42011 combi dragracer model ? P.S l known it sounds weird but still l'm very interested in those power funcions l haven't bought them but still l'm interested to known Quote
JohannesESTONIA Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 When building with LEGO, there are no limits, you just need to imagine ;) Quote
Legofan225 Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) A so you can use the funcions for MOC making ? you just need to look on what side you can put on the parts but are there any manuals come when you buy the power funcions ? Edited December 12, 2013 by Legofan225 Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 And the Eurobricks record for the longest title goes too..... You could add a motor yes but there would be no room for battery box or the transmitter. Quote
Seasider Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 The hovercraft and combi model from this year are pretty small. You could add a motor somehow but as is already mentioned there would be nowhere for the battery box! Quote
Legofan225 Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) l'm very new to Technic but what if l cud use 42010 and 42011 parts to make a MOC and adding some parts from ather Technic sets that l own would l be succesfull ? Edited December 12, 2013 by Legofan225 Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 If you combine all your sets (the two pull back sets and the hovercraft), add a gear rack two motors, receiver and a battery box you might be able to make a RC car or buggy. Quote
Legofan225 Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) Hey that's not a bad idea thank's Alasdair Ryan l'll keep your idea in mind hey one more question what would happen if l add two motors from the 42010 and from 4011 racers on a one model what would happen ? the speed would increase when l will pull it back the race model or would something else would ? ofcourse if it's possible to awnser it Edited December 12, 2013 by Legofan225 Quote
Junpei Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I think it would just have more torque, but at the same speed, maybe lower, because the possible difference in motor speed it not compensated for by an adder. But maybe that doesn't really matter. I hope to see your progress on this ;) Quote
Gee Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 If you had one powering each wheel there's a good chance that it won't go in a straight line, I'd have thought. Quote
