I'm asking about Torso, old - item # 17 and legs, old - item # 15. It's just that lately, I've encountered more then one case of loose legs or cracked torsos or wrists and I'd like to have some figures that are a little more sturdy to put on display on things I build.

thanks

Arms? But the old torsos I'm talking about, like this: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?M=old012 don't have arms, they barely have shoulders.

OK.... now I'm confused?? Not only do these not have arms... but they cannot have loose legs either... because there are no legs... :look:

Have you experienced problems with these before? I've had hundreds of these (1974-80) parts in the past... and I don't ever remember any cracking in the upper torso or lower torso parts... but then again most of mine have been in new or relatively new condition. And yes... the later (1978 introduced) regular minifig parts did have issues with cracking... even when in excellent condition.

I was asking about the quality of the old, solid figure ones since I'd like to have some figures I could use more often that aren't as prone to craking problems. the parts I have are mostly from 2005 or later with a few late 1990/early 2000 ones and I've had more then one case of cracked sides or wrists.

Thanks! That clears things up! As I mentioned before... I've owned many of those old "minifig stiffs" from the 1970s... and I never even noticed a cracking problem! Those parts stood up very well...
