I have an assembled MOC that sits on a 48x48 baseplate and is quite tall (its a 3 story house) and I have to move it a long distance in the back of a moving truck. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to move this MOC to A.Avoid it being smashed to bits and more to the point B.Avoid loss of any parts?

Here is how i do it

1. Find a box that it will fit in.

2. If the 48x48 is a bit flimsy (depending on how you built , put something sturdy under the baseplate at the bottom of the box, (a big book or a board)

3. Put a plastic bag that will fit your moc in the box (if You use a card board any loose pieces will end up in the bag and not find its way out some hole in the box and pacing material will not stick unto your moc)

4. Put the moc in the bag, and seal it.. Fill up the box around the moc with some soft packing material, Whatever You have at home (You can use old newspapers, take a page and roll into a ball, (and do that until the mocs sits steady in the box)

(oh.. and make sure that there isn't to much room above the moc (use packing material) , so if the car hits a bump it should now be able to move upwards .. jumping MOC's are shattered MOC's..
