JopieK Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I decided to design a retro style gas station. I think it will become an Exxon one. At this point I'm not totally sure if all parts are available in the desired colors, but I think most of them are. The area left is a small car display area. Middle the repair shop, right the gas shop that still needs to get some more items (maybe including a coke vending machine?!) Although maybe a bit hard to see, the figures are different (at least there faces). The one behind the cash register is a girl. Quote
Superkalle Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Really great looking MOC. Feels really "fresh" somehow with the color scheme and all. Moving it to Town forum Quote
thiot Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 This will look really nice brick-built. Looks sharp. If I may offer a bit of feedback (which you can of course totally ignore), I think the garage would work better if it were on the end of the building, instead of the middle. Seems like the cars would have a hard time turning in to the garage with the pumps right there. Quote
eurotrash Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 It looks good - are you going to brick it IRL? Although maybe it shouldn't be Exxon, but an Octan one Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Now this is a nice gas station.......be even nicer brick built.......Brick On LDD On 'JopieK' ! Quote
dr_spock Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Very nice. Red and white is the colour scheme for PetroCanada gas stations too. Quote
timmyc1983 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Very cool looking station, I like all the little details you have included, especially the payphone on the side. And the colour scheme works really well too!! I look forward to seeing it brick built, happy building Quote
gazumpty Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Can't wait to see this brickbuilt Jopie, I love the little details that bring the whole MOC to life. I also like the really angry mechanic with his trolley :P Quote
JopieK Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 Thanks for the feedback guys and gals! I will look into rearranging the shop / garage, I think it will take some time to build it, first some more train projects to do. Quote
Professor Brick Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Here in Canada those colours would be spot on for a Petro Canada Station Quote
