Scubacarrot Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I'm sorry, I thought I was helping by pointing out something that I thought interesting and then examining it. Perhaps I should instead regurgitate what other people have said. Let me do that here: "I think that Snotra isn't above suspicion simply because she was labeled as "not Servant of Loki", since she could still be a third neutral party. She shouldn't be acting all smug and arrogant." Are you satisfied Canute? Did I meet your expectations? Who do you think is likely to be scum. Besides me. I might mess up the names since I'm mobile ATM, but... dufa (lynched I know but we don't result yet) Helga Snorta patrekr naemr (if dufa is not) Could you tell us why? I'm personally especially interested in why you think Helga or Patrekr might be scum.
Darkdragon Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Yeah but I need to wait until I get to a better terminal. Two hours.
CMP Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Why does it always have to come down to personal attacks and calling people idiots? No fun. It's not a personal attack. I'm just annoyed that some of us coast along doing nothing the entire game and refuse to even acknowledge it: I'm sorry, I thought I was helping by pointing out something that I thought interesting and then examining it. Perhaps I should instead regurgitate what other people have said. Making pointless posts that are long, summarizing, or just keep attacking someone with echoes of what someone else said.... that's what you people apparently consider useful. That is a scum tactic so I hope the rest of town is paying attention to these jokers. No. That's not what I consider useful. We all know how to be useful in games of life like this, so don't act like you don't. dufa (lynched I know but we don't result yet) Helga Snorta patrekr naemr (if dufa is not) Yeah but I need to wait until I get to a better terminal. Two hours. See this? THIS is what I could call (almost) useful, assuming you give good arguments as to why you suspect these people. Take notes Baulf, maybe you'll do something worthwhile yet.
Darkdragon Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Canute, Don't talk to me like I'm a child, I don't appreciate your attitude. It is a personal attack and you are continuing it. You don't know what people are doing behind the scenes so how can you just call it lazy idiots? I didn't think you are scum but the useless posting you've done tonight makes me wonder, you sure do post a lot and say nothing other than "these people are quiet, look at them" over and over. That's all I'm going to say on this subject. It's not like that list from me is new, i've been saying the same names for 3 days. Some of you folks say people "don't read" but you only read if it's in list form. "Good arguments" is subjective. I'll give my reasons and you can take it or leave it. Just remember the list/reasons/arguments when I'm dead and am cleared as town. dufa (lynched I know but we don't result yet) - this has been covered in day 3 and we all lynched him Helga - posting style seems subdued, people i trust don't trust her, the interactions with others i feel are scum seem like they are forced Snorta - normal self but providing no real info or direction, wishwashing on info that is provided, seems more interested in defending attitude than helping us find scum patrekr - similar to others in the list as posting a lot without providing any info, focusing on poking and arguing instead of actual investigation and analyizing naemr (if dufa is not) - over and over i've stated my reasons for this, early uncalled for defensiveness and dispearing at key times
Hinckley Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Oh, sorry! He's so sweet while he's sweeping.
Hinckley Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 It's going to be a very long night. Everyone planning to be quiet again?
MagPiesRUs Posted December 24, 2013 Author Posted December 24, 2013 'Twas the night before Day Six, and all through Valhalla, Not a creature stirred, not even this fella. But across the hall came a distant clink, The einherjar were up for a late night drink! Having quickly finished the mead, everyone sang a song, Even Snotra and Mursi were getting along! Canute rattled off stories to the rest of the hall, Whilst Wilhalm and Baulf said nothing at all; Chief Mursi made sure the turkey was well-prepared, While in a contest of manliness, facial hair was compared; As Helga tried to imitate the animals from her farm, Patrekr and Canute presented each other with a brand new polearm; Lefsi and Naemr discussed their days in the army, Whilst Baulf gave Helga a gift of salami; Snotra returned carrying fresh barrels of beer, But Wilhalm was more interested in the dangling chandalier; Harald looked on at the dancing and the eating of food, And even he was in a good mood...
MagPiesRUs Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 After leaving the company of Herburt the Norman, Thor had a plan that was gradually forming. The einherjar now had a trick up their sleeves, To recover Mjölnir from the frost giant thieves. In order to bring about the giants' demise, Thor infiltrated their hall in a clever disguise. Thor dressed himself up as a girl in a veil, Along with Petrus, Dragmall and Stemid the Pale. Cranebeinn and Carl sang Day Six carols, Whilst Erik and Bergulf snuck in with the barrels. Danr and Sveinn provided the giants with coasters, And Steinvoir acted like a seller of toasters. After the feast was over, the giants let out a cheer, And gifted their guest with the stolen Mjölnir. Having obtained his gift, Thor ripped off his gown, Then charged at the giants and went to town! At last, the giants had paid for their crimes, <Here's a placeholder for something that rhymes> Thor then said, after a job most stellar, "Pack your things, we're going to Valhalla!" Then, as he tore off the remnants of his dress, He announced, "never shall we never speak of this mess." Then mounting his chariot and riding off out of sight, He yelled, "Happy Day Six to all, and to all a good night!"
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Where else would we be? If you have anything to say, Let it out.
Bob Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I don't have anything to add, it's just unsettling how quiet it is.
Bob Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I thought it was existential iffy-ness. Don't tell me my title has changed again!
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 It was iffy-ness before. You said it was unsettling now but unsettli-ness didn't make a good word. So I took some license and said uneasiness.
