Ever since I started Lego Ive wondered which way the hands are supposed to go. I know i havent explained well, i dont really know how.

I'm pretty sure you know what I mean though.

Back in the day I noticed that new minifigs always came with their hands upside-down (Bevel facing forward on the torso) but haven't looked closely in the latest sets - do they still come that way, out of the box?

That is true! It always was a pain to twist them to the right way, especially with many battle packs at once.

Nowadays, I think all hands are placed the good way in the factory, so we don't have to worry

It is maybe interesting to note that minifigs from the CMF-line have their hands facing inwards, whereas minifigs in normal sets have their hands facing the right way up.

Maybe its something with the packets.

I have also noticed that the CMF ones all have their hands upside down when opened. They used to be like that in sets, but it does seem the sets have been sorted out of late and are now the correct way up.

Ok thanks guys.

I'd always thought it was the way twentyleggedhen said, but recently had become unsure as the lego minifigures id buy would have their hands the other way :classic:.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, I always just kept them the way they were when you buy them, have done since I was a child, and was absolutely baffled when I was building with a friend and he said "why have you got all the hands upside down?" I couldn't believe Lego would lie to me so they've stayed as Lego intended :P
