galacticslave Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Does anyone have any links to the building instructions in this book? The price is too high for the book now and I would like the instructions. Quote
JopieK Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 I have the book, but don't have a scan unfortunately, I could make a scan of course, but it will cost some time and of course it is tricky because of the copyrights etc. Quote
Hey Joe Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Question; is this book still relevant in the PF age to someone with no 9V or earlier equipment? I've heard about this book, but never laid eyes on it. Thanks, Joe Quote
dr_spock Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Have you considered checking to see if your local public libraries have a copy to borrow? Quote
Phoxtane Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 The only thing you would have to change in the models for the instructions would be to figure out how to add a battery box to them if you only have PF. Other than that, the same rules apply that apply to 9V trains! Quote

I know that they will work on a yellow, grey and red 10133 but I like the version in the book. I've tried my local library but they can't get it. It's a shame that Bricksonthebrain isn't around anymore. Quote
JopieK Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 but I made an LDD model from that book and then built the train afterwards: http://ministickers....nionPacific.lxf Quote
Hey Joe Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) but I made an LDD model from that book and then built the train afterwards: http://ministickers....nionPacific.lxf Problem solved, awesome! I wonder why the Internet Way Back Machine never archived that Bricksonthebrain site? Is there any way to contact the author? EDIT; I just did a little digging, apparently he's here now: http://www.communityguy.com/ Joe Edited November 27, 2013 by Hey Joe Quote
