Hey Guys,

So Everything is Black for LDD for me, and I can not change anything to make it white, preventing me from making a Christmas-Themed creation I wanted to make. Is there any way I can get it to display colours?

Cheers,

Tom

Are you using ldd extended? if so, there should be a toolbar at the top. click the paint bucket. Now under it you should see a black square. click that and it will display a large variety of colors to choose from.

This does not come up. :sceptic: I am using LDD 4.3

Could you provide a screenshot of your LDD?

(note that you will probably need an external file/image hosting site to host the image. Provide it as a text link, because it will be almost surely oversized)

The problem is strange, because even if you are using the Extended Mode the default colour for bricks is red.

Does OpenGL works fine in your video card?

Are you using the Extended mode? Or the standard LDD mode?

Did you read the LDD manual?

Hi, thanks for your help thus far.

I can not take a Print Screen but it is basically the standard Build Mode for LDD 4.3. How do I put it into Extended Mode, so then I can change Colours more easily?

Okay, so little update, I have it in Extended mode, but when I click the fill button it still won't change the colour of the Brick. Any chance someone would be kind enough to help me out? :classic:

So I open LDD Extended, place a Block Down, Click the Bucket, Select a Colour, then click the brick, and the colour doesn't change. Why? :(

That seems quite odd. you could try uninstalling the program then re-installing. but some of the experts might know better then I do.

Have you tried going into the settings, turning all the graphics options to minimum and the compatibility settings to maximum? What you're describing sounds like a driver issue somewhere so it's probably best to see if it works in the "safest" settings, then slowly dial them up to find the point it starts failing.
