Brandon Miller Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Toys R Us is having a sale right now on The Hobbit Riddles For The Ring set for $10. I don't care for the Hobbit but couldn't pass up several angled rock bricks for $10. Quote
tkatt Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Target sells that set for $9.99 not on sale, you may want to watch for it to go on sale there and get a few more. Amazon has is for $8.86- if you order 4 you'd get free shipping. Quote

fred67 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Honestly, unless you want a whole bunch of Bilbos and Gollums, ordering those kinds of pieces off of Bricklink seems to make a whole lot more sense... throw in a few BURPs to make building the mountain go faster. They may seem a bit pricey, but when you add up all the slopes needed to make something that big, it's a bargain. Even if you don't like them, you could probably buy hundreds of slopes off of Bricklink for what a few of those sets would cost. You can buy over 260 of them from one of the stores I'm looking at for 8 cents each (in light bluish gray). Quote
