Registered a little bit ago and haven't posted much yet, but figured I'd introduce myself.

I'm Heather, I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio, been a Lego fan since childhood, it was always my favorite toy and up until recently I only got them out periodically or played with them with my niece and newphews when they visit. I found the local Lego store a couple months ago and now I'm obsessed again, I think it was the Galaxy Squad sets that caught my eye. I've always been a big fan of the space/sci-fi and castle themes, but I'll build most anything if I get the urge to.

Hoping to get some good ideas and maybe post some MOCs of my own here, too.

Any other AFOL from Cincinnati on here?

Welcome to the forums Heather!

I hope you have fun here. As for other members in Cincinnati - I know there's at least one. You can check on the first post of 'Members on the map' thread in the community pages.

Welcome. We hope you enjoy your stay.

I'm always looking for someone to help keep a lookout on what is on the Pick A Brick wall at the Cincy store if you don't mind a few PMs now and then. They say they get the "masonry profile" bricks in now and then but I've haven't seen them yet.

Also looking for someone in person to split a box of the Simpsons CMF if it actually happens... if you are interested.

I only think I know two others on EB in the area, I will have to dig in my inbox. Haven't met any in person.

There is one LUG (Lego User Group) - OKILug - OH KY IN - but I'm not a member. I left them a message on their Facebook, but they didn't respond. I might try again sometime. They do a few displays each year.

I haven't built too many MOCS recently, but I do have a city the size of a desk that I have been working off and on for about a year. I need new pics of it actually. Links to my Flickr album are below if you really want.

"Keep on bricking" is what one famous member here says.

Hello, just perused the pick a brick wall today and alas there were none of the masonry bricks today. I documented everything I got in the cups and will probably post something tomorrow in the pick a brick cup thread if you're curious what is there now.

I would probably be interested in the Simpsons CMFs if they do happen as I'm a big fan of the show.
