Ritsz Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Hello, First of all, sorry for my bad English. I'm 25 years old, at the moment I live in Spain. I loved lego till I was about 12-13 years old then sold everything that I had for just 50 euro! 1 minute after selling it I already regret it. I started to get interested again just 4 months ago, and already have lots of lego. the theme's that I like the most are the ones that I used to like when I was a child. But the one I love the most by far is lego Western. I've been searching for all the western sets and got them all apart from 2, 6748 and 6799. Some of the sets I got 2 or 3 times, and one 6716 Covered Wagon/Weapons Wagon I got 4 times. I am making an MOC/layout with all I have, plus lots of extra parts. And I would like to share some pics with all the (interested) members. And hope members will give me some advices or share interest in the Western theme. Can someone please tell me where I should start a topic for posting the pics? Thanks to all and Greetings Ritsz Quote
Mutant Orc Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Hello and welcome to Eurobricks! The best place for Lego Western MOCs are in the History forum. I am a fan of western but only recently. I hope to see your pics sometime in the near future!! Damn, I wish I was the person who got that Lego for 50!!! Quote
Ritsz Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 Thanks for the quick answer. I hope to start a topic at the end of this weekend and upload some pics. haha, I aslo hope there's some guy like me who sells me his good old lego for 50:D Quote
eurotrash Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I think most of us have got sad tales about what happened to our old sets so you're not alone.... Welcome to the forums Ritsz! Quote
Ecbirx Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 So grateful my mom held onto all my 90's pirate sets. Only had to pick up a few I didn't have to complete my vintage pirate sets. Some of my boxes were still in great shape 15 years later! Quote
Ritsz Posted November 15, 2013 Author Posted November 15, 2013 I wish my parents would have done the same. But at that time I was really happy they let me sell it so I could buy a GameBoy Advance. When I look at that GameBoy right now, (I still have it) I think it turned out to be a really expensive one. But enough said over this. Thanks for the Welcomes and I'll show my western collection as soon as possible. Quote

WaysofSorting Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Hi Ritsz! Welcome back from the Dark Ages and to the forums - I'm mostly new here myself. But I've been enjoying leaving comments and feedback. It didn't take long to become a citizen. Here's a helpful link that outlines the structure of the labels here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33335 It's highly recommended/required you set up an outside image hosting account (Many people use Flickr or Google+) since even once image uploading is allowed, it's a very small amount - suitable more for avatar or signature files. Another great resource to start looking at all that is the "Index of Tutorials" they've set up: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=19193 Can't wait to see what you are building - Quote
Ritsz Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Thanks a lot WaysofSorting!!! I've read the links you gave me. But still do not know if I have to be a Vassal 10+ or a Citizen if I want to start a new topic in the Historic forum so I can show my pics? Also it says that you can upload a maximum of 100KB. Butt the pictures are around 250KB. If I make them even smaller I'm afraid the others won't be able to see them good enough. I'm sorry for all the questions! Quote
