piratekingrd Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 (edited) This is my 16-gunned brigatine Excalibur. I built her as a continental naval brigatine during the American Revolutionary War. It took me a month to complete her but in my eyes she is a beautiful ship. Edited November 14, 2013 by piratekingrd
Morthen Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 MORE PICTURES!!!! Great ship, nice phtoshop, very subtile. I really like your how the bow is put together, I haven't seen that technic before. and that idea to use tires as bottom half of the mast, is goooood. Mind if i "burrow" that ?? Hehe. Nice job
Sebeus I Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Welcome at Eurobricks, that's a very interesting ship you made, I would love to see more pictures as well. In this forum people are very interested in the details so feel free to give plenty of explanation and pictures to illustrate. You can use Flickr or Brickshelf to upload many pictures and then embed them in a post here (Flickr is the easiest). Anyway, I love it so far, I hope to see more of this quality work from you
kurigan Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Wow, she is nice; simple and elegant and the furred, brick built sails are a nice touch. I hate to be this guy, but I am compelled to point out that she is in no way a brigantine. She is actuall full or ship rigged. The third mast is what makes the primary different and in her historical idiom was a significant distinction. Your Excalibur looks oddly familiar as well. Have we seen a version of her before? Thanks for sharing!
