Slope/hinge connection

I'm planning on placing them all along each sidewalk.

The model doesn't use any 2x2 bricks. Could you post pics of the ones you mean?

Replace a 1x2 brick with a 1x2 brick with studs on 1 side and a 1x2 plate, or a 1x1 plate and 1x1 tile for the latter plate.

But if you do that, the lamp post would be crooked as it'd be perpendicular to the spot on the curved section. LEGO has released only 1 piece with fixed angled stud and it's a huge piece, like it's intended for roof support.

Maybe replace one of the 1x2 brick with a technic that has a + hole, a 2L technic axle, and 1 angled connector?

It would be nice if you can upload the file so we can play around with it. Creating a solution off the top of our heads isn't the best way to do things sometimes. This looks like a pretty difficult setup. I'm actually amazed that LDD lets you make such a curve...

Could you share the lxf of the road and the streetlamps you intend to use?

It would have to be something with a hinge tile with two fingers on top, in combination with a hinge cylinder with one finger.

Hinge the cylinder to make it vertical, and then, somehow, connect the street lamp on top of the cylinder.

Depends on the type of street lamp you're using. I used it in combination with 42445 (Bar 1x12), and it worked a treat. You can give the bar any angle you want. Well, almost... there's a click system between the tile and the cylinder that limits the number of positions you can fix the bar in.

You can use that lamp, but you can't maintain that "vertical", they will follow the curvature of the street.
