In which, without my knowledge at all of this competition, the winner whom is Homba 7033 If you scroll up, you'll see we were trying to decide whether to just announce a winner (pretty obvious who) now, or wait till the original closing date, May 7th. Which is Monday anyway, so we may as well do that.

Do we announce a winner now as per Optimax's original idea, or do we wait a bit longer. Bear in mind though that voting started about 5 weeks ago, and the results don't really show much chance of changing drastically. I'm looking for a consensus here. Perhaps we could set up a poll to decide... ;-)

Anyhow, given there isn't any such a thing as a prize; other than the viewing of some new MOCs... The better part of a contest like this is the motivation to build; so it's done that well enough... Anyone want to reboot it? I know I'm not the only one who started having an idea but didn't make the deadline... There's a half finished heavy fighter on my desk, wouldn't mind another push.

By all means, but you'd probably have to see how many people would be interested again. Perhaps you could add some sort of twist to make it a bit different. I might enter again though. I know I'm not the only one who started having an idea but didn't make the deadline...There's a half finished heavy fighter on my desk, wouldn't mind another push. well actually, i also have this engine section of a fighter lying around and i'm also constantly thinking "hm... i really should finish this cos it looks cool...". the reason why i never got it finished in the first place, was not by lack of ideas, but i just couldn't find the parts i needed... it turned out that they were in my bag with minifigs, obviously a bag i did not open when i was looking for them :-| however, before we proceed, how manny people would be interested in a "second round"? and, btw, congrats to the winner! *sweet*, but also to all the others! first of all, unlike me, they did make the deadline and in the end, it's not important how many people like your moc, it's faaaar more important to have fun building one and enjoying the result... ah yes, i'll close this thread and start a new one for candidates for a "second round" ; i think we need about 5-7 candidates...
