Alfadas Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Hi all, here is something I made for the Landscapes of Mitgardia community build. Hope you like it, and all comments are welcome! http://www.flickr.com/photos/100509226@N08/sets/72157637411887676/ Quote
kabel Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 (edited) hey jeroena, i like you build and there is some good stuff in it. However, this is the wrong thread and also, could you please post single pics? My I pad doens't read those flash animations ... Edited November 7, 2013 by kabel Quote
Alfadas Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 (edited) Thanks! But why is this the wrong thread? It is for the Landscaping from Mitgardia, and I also posted it in that thread. I think I can upload single photos, but it might take a while. Edit: Ok, I tried it, but how can I do that as an edit? As a new topic it isn't a problem. I understood that it is useful to have a ?brickshelf? account, but I don't have that, just flickr. Edited November 7, 2013 by jeroenaa Quote
PsyKater Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Flickr is good you just have to get the single links to the pictures and include them in img tags. Dont you have enough posts to edit your posts? Quote
kabel Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 joroena, you posted this in the history forum not in the guilds of historica subforum where it belongs! But I'm sure your friendly mocs will help to move it there ... As for the pics, I use flickr too, you just need to klick on the pic, choose 800*600, copy the adresse, and voila, there you go: Quote

Edit: Ok, I copied the address bar, not the image url. I now get this: That looks better, right? Edited November 7, 2013 by jeroenaa Quote
soccerkid6 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Looks pretty good, I like the bend in the river, the muddy section the pigs are playing in, and the rockwork There are two things I think could be improved: the water and pigsty are both higher than the grass around them, it looks more realistic to have rivers and mud puddles a little lower than the surrounding terrain Quote
Alfadas Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 Thanks! Yeah, that parts need improvement. So, after I buy the new The Hobbit sets, and I have money left, I buy more small green parts. But that is going to take a while. I don't have much time to build from next week, but I will build as often as I can. Quote
Gideon Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 The top view looks really good, I like the topology in green in the lower left corner and the vegetation along the water I agree with SK however that the water and mud should have been lower than the surrounding ground. Good that you included a picture instead of a slide show (which is just black on my phone) Quote
Alfadas Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 Glad you like it! From now on I will post pics, not slideshows. (I just learned how to do that) Quote
RonaldusMaxus Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Much better pic! The rock work in the background looks cool. I also agree with SK and Gideon, but its looking pretty darn good so far. Quote
