AyliffeMakit Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who this month, I decided to do some purist (well, other than 10's jacket) customs of the 10th and 11th doctors . Check out my FLICKR photostream for more photos! Quote
Mutant Orc Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I m much preferred David Tennant so I'm glad you did him. Matt Smith is more likable in your lego form I find!! I really like the 10th Quote
KingPixels Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Smith is my favourite Doctor but in minifig form I think you nailed Tennant! Quote
Luke Styer Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 (edited) It looks like this torso. I'm having a hard time choosing a torso for a minifigure of the 11th Doctor. The one you chose calls to mind that Western episode. He needs a Stetson. Stetsons are cool. Edited November 16, 2013 by Luke Styer Quote
cetanhota Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Thank you so much. Off to ebay to find me a chest. Quote

By the way, what hair piece should I use for John Hurts doctor? I really don't know what to use. Quote
Luke Styer Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I haven't really given a ton of thought to Hurt's Doctor yet. I don't know that I've looked at him enough to really have a feel for torso or hair piece. For his head you'll need an "elderly" looking head, preferably with a beard. Hurt wears a van dyke in character, and I'm not aware off hand of any older looking heads that sport a van dyke. Where his hair is sort of upswept, though, you could almost use the same hair piece you use for the Tenth, if it were available in gray, which I do not believe it is. We definitely have a new puzzle on our hands, and a bit earlier than we expected to have to start dealing with Capaldi. Quote
Ceroknight Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Have you tried switching the faces? Quote
KingPixels Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 The hair piece you're using for 11 is coming out in dark brown with the LEGO Movie sets! Perfect for the Doctor and for Phil Coulson too. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Those Minifigs look really good, the 10th doctor look really good but the jacket look really odd and the 11th look alright but i don't like the torso because of the bag and the hair because it's brown, i think you should have of use This Hair it way look somewhat better. Andy D Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) AyliffeMakit - Which torso did you use for number 11? I finally made a TARDIS and would like a Doctor to be by it. Thanks, Andy D Edited February 27, 2014 by Andy D Quote
Andy D Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 It's the old Western Sheriff torso. Thanks -- ordered. AndyD Quote
