AyliffeMakit Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 After getting a ton of etched column bricks at the local pick a brick wall, I decided to use lots of them in a modular building of a clothing store. Lets start with the bottom floor: On the first floor, there is a selection of shirts and a till so you can pay for your items. Lets move onto the second floor. On the second floor there is a selection of trousers and two changing rooms to try on your purchases. The changing room curtains were made with some fabric cut to the correct size. Lets move on to the top floor of the shop. On the top floor, there are some storage crates and an unassembled mannequin waiting to be displayed in the window. And thats it! Enjoy! Quote
eurotrash Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Looks good! I like the facade and the interior details you've included - the unassembled mannequin was a bit creepy though.... Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Excellent store design there 'AyliffeMakit', I like the clothing rack and change room ideas......but that poor Friend's minidoll.....well, it would be perfect for last week.....i.e. 31st of October ! Brick On 'AyliffeMakit' ! Quote
AyliffeMakit Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 (edited) Don't worry, no minidolls were harmed in the making of this building. :-P Edited November 3, 2013 by AyliffeMakit Quote
Hoexbroe Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Nice. Very funny presentacion! ;-) -The guy looking for trousers reminds me of Bruce Willis in Die Hard... Quote
satly Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Excellent work, reminds me of a few clothes stores I've been to. LOL at "I wish I had a figure like that..." Was just wondering if you have left the back of the building open? Quote

Was just wondering if you have left the back of the building open? Yeah, I left the backs of the buildings open for playability and because I ran out of bricks. Oh and thanks for the kind words! kermit Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 Nice moc but I think there is too much white that makes it hard to see the details of your beautiful building. Maybe the addition of another colour to break up the white would help a bit. Quote
Venunder Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 I like your use of the Friends Dolls as mannequin. I would have thought about that eventually. :) A good MOC. Quote

Maybe the addition of another colour to break up the white would help a bit. I was thinking the same thing, there are some great details that tend to get lost in the white. But it's a great building and would look good on any modular street!! Well done and happy building Quote
