Freddy Bricker Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Hey guys, I noticed we haven't had a thread for this, and I was just wondering: do you prefer DC or Marvel? And does this affect the sets you buy in the superheroes theme (if you collect from that theme, that is). I personally love DC and wish the sets could gear more towards the justice league, or the teen titans rather than just batman. However Marvel has its place in my collection as well, what about you guys? Do you prefer DC/Marvel, but still buy from the opposite theme, or restrain yourself to your preferances? Quote
Lego Spy Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) I like them both. I love Batman, and, uh... Robin? I love the Cap', Iron Man, Thor, etc. I just buy casually really, one set here, another there from both lines. (But I think I'll be a little short of cash if Lego does The Winter Soldier ) Edited October 29, 2013 by Lego Spy Quote
Vindicare Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I lean very much towards Marvel. There's a few sets from the DC side I haven't, and most likely won't be, getting. I do enjoy both lines though and am getting more into DCs comics. Quote
Leo604 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 While Batman and TDKR is my favourite superhero movie, I find that the Marvel sets are generally better so I'm more preferable to them. Quote
FinalFeature Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 (edited) I personally prefer DC, I always found them to have more interesting characters. I just wish that LEGO would do more than just Batman or Superman. The only marvel I ever truly enjoy are the Stan Lee/ Jack Kirby comics, the rest is meh. Elrond Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I've never read any DC or Marvel comic, so I can't really say. However I did enjoy the Batman AS when I was a kid and I like the Burton films as well as the Nolan trilogy. I don't really care for any other superhero movie or series though. I don't buy many superhero sets and when I do it's mostly for parts or because I just like the design of the vehicle(s). Quote
