I read some articles about PF IR receiver, it is said there are three versions sold by lego, v2 is only included in 4x4 car set, and v1 is not good, and I tested my two receivers just got from lego.

I found when I use RCX Remote Control to control RCX with brickOS, then send LPF to control receiver, the motors on receiver did't response as soon as possible, I am afraid my receivers are v1, how can I know if it is v1.5 not v1?

The V2 receivers should say on the bottom (below the channel switcher) whether they are V2 or not. If there is no paint "V2", then they are not V2.

V1.5 has a firmware that corrects some bugs of v1. You can recognize it by LED blinking at startup.

It looks like blinking, but only one time, I read some article that said v1.5 blinking two times at startup, which is correct?
