Marcel1980 Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 with 4 buggy motors! I love it! http://sariel.pl/2013/10/dakar-truck/ Quote
grego18f Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Nice find! this truck is too realistic ! I am surprised that heavy truck has a good performance. Quote
jantjeuh Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) Looks like it didn't quite work as expected, still a very nice effort though. Perhaps he will make an improved Mk2 with XL motors ;-) He has also made instructions for a rear (live) axle with a simple difflock available here: http://sariel.pl/dow...le-difflock.pdf. Looks quite useful! Edited October 25, 2013 by jantjeuh Quote
Sariel Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Thanks. Personally, I don't like it much, so I didn't post it here. I should have a nuclear reactor to power this thing, then it would work nice. Quote
Marcel1980 Posted October 25, 2013 Author Posted October 25, 2013 Its just crazy to have so much buggy motors in there. Power consumption is just crazy. I like the look of it! Im working in a dakar truck to with only 2 buggy motors. So we will see how that works out. Quote
MVtechnic Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Great model Sariel. But 4 RC motors is not too ? Quote
Darth Dino Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Hi even when it "fails" for Sariel its still a great MOC. There is a german spellword that fits perfectly here: Who is not trying will not fail... And only who fails will learn ;) So it is STILL a good MOC ;) Dino Quote
Lakop Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 It's a great truck, so it's a good start. Loking at the motor set up I did not think it would work. It needs a crawler style motor set up I guess and maybe take some weight off it. H Quote
