KyleJ Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Hey, thought I'd introduce myself to the community seen as I've been here a few weeks now! My name's Kyle, I'm a young adult, I live in the South West of the UK in a nice quaint village of around 100 people - 30 minutes from the nearest town. I'm fascinated with medicine and caring for people which is probably why I'm a student nurse hoping to go into emergency medicine! I'm also interested in rugby and hockey. Because I live in such a small area which is surrounded by either fields or beaches most of the people that live here surf, I used to surf nearly every time I could until for some reason that I still do not understand... I completely lost interest, although that's where I met some of my closest mates who I could not do without. Lego! I was such a massive fan of Lego as a kid, I used to buy any Lego I could get my hands on, my mum was also a fan of Lego in her younger years (not anymore) so had a lot of loose pieces that I used to build houses and other buildings out of, they weren't very good looking now I think about it... as I grew up I started building Lego less and less, but never stopped looking at MOCs on the internet (Mostly interested in present day stuff... city/town/farms/airports etc.), even In my teenage years I would search for Lego city MOCs to see if anything caught my eye... a lot did. But I've shot back into it, I found some boxes of Lego but found out that I lack INCREDIBLY of just bricks, plates and tiles etc... the basic stuff! so I'm searching like a madman for cheap(ish) bulk decent condition Lego bricks, plates, tiles, roof tiles etc. to build my collection to a large one again, forgetting that MOCs require an amazing amount of bricks... and that 100 pieces of a specific brick really isn't as much as it sounds... But Its nice to be here with you! and I hope I can fit in quick and well :) Quote
