skcheung Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 (edited) This is my second attempt to "Friend-ise" an official LEGO product. The first one is 10196: Actually I wish to build a theme park and it shall incorporate as many facilities as possible. http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=87068 Now, welcome to LEGO Friends Ferris Wheel. Andrew sells tickets. As usual, everyone needs to queue up for a ride. The official set only contains 8 carts. I merely make some slight alterations and now the ferris wheel allows 16 riders. The other problem of the original set is that its part can easily be dislocated. The two circles in this picture shows how I fix the problem. This is not all of my LEGO friends theme park! tkatt Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 You have done a wonderful job working the Friends color palate into this set, it's too bad Lego doesn't make a motor in hot pink : ) Quote
Teessider Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I like your remakes of the ferris wheel and the grand carousel. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Quote
Kivi Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Another nice remake. Though I must say that this one looks very colourful. Keep up the good work. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 This is truly amazing, so many details! Really liking this friends amusement park. :-) Quote

kermit Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Very nice But I think it has too many different colours that it makes the moc kind of confusing. Great build though. Quote

Yes, you are right and I realize that. But I have no time to refine coz I have to move on to my next "Friend-ised" project. Thanks very much for your comment. Quote
splatman Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Friend-ised? I would think "Friendified" would be more like it. Or maybe "BeFriended". Sure is colorful! Wonder how much color-crazier would it look, if it had lights all over, like the real thing. I would like to see a Frindified Galaxy Explorer, Mega Core Magetizer, castle, or Café Corner. Quote
Mikuri Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 To hide the motors you could simply put it on ground and a axle could go up the the center of the wheel. I think there's a bit too much colors but the model is awesome and could be on my "to-buy" list :P Quote
