monsinjor Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Hi! Here are few mocs made by my wife... She's not really into LEGO but sometimes she builds... I think she spend around 10-15 hours in total with LEGO Coffee bar: Small park: Party time: Bathroom: We hope you like it! Have a nice day! Quote
LAKAbricks Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 There are some really great ideas amongst these MOCs, Monsinjor. I think your wife should be MOC'ing some more I really like the use of the life vests as chairs in the café. I also like how she arranges plants and flowers in the parks/gardens. And finally the helmet as a toilet. Poor that fireman who will have that helmet back later Quote
bacem Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 "not really into lego"? are you sure? these pics says otherwise, i think. there are many NPU here. those that's already said by laka, blaster as bathtub faucet, space cockpit cover as umbrella, life jacket as chairs, etc. those were great. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 I like that bathroom and that little cafe scene 'monsinjor', did your wife pick up the habit from you ? Tell her to make some more, they are wonderful......now to get my wife into this ! Brick On 'monsinjor' plus better half ! Quote
eurotrash Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 She needs to make more! There's some very inventive part usage here - though that inverted helmet as a toilet bowl would seem very wobbly Quote
just2good Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Love these all, especially the bathroom one. And, holy cajoli, I don't think I've ever seen a life-jacket piece used as a chair. That's a FANTASTIC idea, especially for minidolls. I'd love to see more MOCs from her! Quote
CardinalBricks Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 I never did see the use in that trans-green seaweed piece, as seen in the 3rd photo of the small park. I mean seriously, aren't all plants opaque? That piece is REALLY weird! Quote
timmyc1983 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 These are really cool, my favourite is the cafe, I love the life jackets as seats, great piece usage!! Great MOCs, happy building for you and your wife Quote
antp Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 "not really into lego"? are you sure? these pics says otherwise, She was an undercover AFFOL who is now revealed :D Quote
Trevor_F Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 That bathroom looks really great! I love the bathtub and toilet, and the yellow color. Quote
Andy D Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 For someone who "is not really into LEGO" those are some seriously great MOCs. Those are great MOCs for someone who " is" seriously into LEGO. your wife has a great eye for detail. She has whimsey, detail, and realism. The bathroom looks like it could be a "real" bathroom. Great, I hope we see more from her! Andy D Quote
monsinjor Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Thanks folks! She's very happy that you like it. I believe that you all encourage her to build more! She's thinking now about some flower shop or living room Quote
Kivi Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 I think that 'not being really into lego' might be a certain advantage for her, no need for thinking about advanced building techniques and all that complex stuff, just let the imagination run free. All the scenes are very beautiful, they are simple but complete. Congratulations to her from me too. Quote
KringlesBricks Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Yay! ...seems you got another one addicted to LEGO HA-HA! Quote
SheepEater Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Great MOCs, why don't you get her to create an Eurobricks account so she can post her MOCs herself? Quote
KringlesBricks Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Great MOCs, why don't you get her to create an Eurobricks account so she can post her MOCs herself? I second that motion - ha-ha Quote
tedbeard Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Love the bath and the wheels as a planter. Quote
