The Medieval Market Village. Took me about 7 hours (one of them was taken finding one piece, I eventually gave up and went to get one from my collection, and I finally found it halfway through the build :cry_sad:).

When I was little, I was fond of Bionicle so I bought particullary every set which was connected with this series. That's why Axalara T9 (8943) took me the whole day. Ya, sounds strange but I made a lot of mistakes in construction so I rebuilt and rebuilt...until I've done it)

I haven't been doing much big building recently, but 5 or so years ago when the clone wars republic gunship came out it took me about 6 hours. (the pieces where not sorted.

The pet shop took me all day, also i'm not sure it counts, but i ordered a second hand "complete" Exo-Force Gate assault on BL. It was not complete. And i had to wait weeks for the seller to send me the remaining parts to finish it.

In retrospect the most massive build for me was in 1980 when I got Main Street for my birthday. It was by far the biggest set I owned at the time. Everything before that was small sets like Town tow trucks and police cars. That set just blew me away with all the pieces included- four baseplates, two trees, all the road signs and seven minifigs- Wow!

Later on, the Launch & Load Seaport became my first 1000+ piece set, and it felt like it took forever to build.

More recently I got the UCS ISD, and then the Taj Mahal, both multi-day builds.

Definitely the 2008 Death Star (am I right on the year?). It took me an entire week to build (especially since that was before I began sorting pieces, I remember it took me like two days just to find one piece). I had all the pieces dumped out on the floor all around me.
